I didn't know there was a v1.1.0 released. Thanks, I'll check it out. At least someone around here is helpful.
I don't believe I'm one of them, but if you comment was referring to me, I don't appreciate it any more than monerobull's comment telling Tails users to fuck off.
I come here looking for help with the script and this is your response? Maybe this is why no one ever posts here. Newsflash you arrogant ass: there are lots of Tails users having trouble with v.1.0.19 right now because the github file has changed from deb.zip to an installer file. Changing out the version number in the sudo command has worked for me up until now but no longer. I've I've been using Tails for 8 years, do not like Qubes, and your disrespectful assumptions about me being some kind of schizo moron who needs to be spoonfed aren't appreciated. If you think it's strange to want to use Retoswap on Tails, you obviously know nothing about true Opsec. Nevermind, sorry I asked for help. Until now I thought you were a helpful and useful member of the Monero community. I'll just switch to openmonero.co and XMRglobal. And I'll say it again. If you want adoption of Retoswap by more than just a few, Retoswap shouldn’t make it mandatory to upgrade in order to trade until all of us in the privacy community are covered.
Yeah, I'm surprised that monerobull hasn't chimed in on this yet with the way he supports it so much. Retoswap shouldn't make it mandatory to upgrade in order to trade until all bases are covered, i.e. Tails users.
monerobull, can you help me with figuring out what's wrong with the script I've posted above so that I can download v1.0.19 onto Tails?
I'm having trouble installing v1.0.19 on Tails. This is the command I'm using. Can anyone figure out what I'm doing wrong? It keeps saying "Failed to download Haveno binary".

Maybe I don't understand fully, but if I sell a voucher for 1 XMR on Amazon, Amazon will know that I sold it with my real identity, right? Or are you saying to try to sell it with a fake Amazon account?
Because you can't use those 3 sites to on-ramp, only to swap.
Ok, thanks for the info.

AVOID crypton.sh They scammed me.
Another alternative is to use XMR to rent a phone number for receipt of a one time SMS verification code at a cost of $3-5. In the past, Google would not ask for a SMS verification code again after the creation of an account, but if you are worried that they might, you can also rent a phone number long term.
How does this work? Does the Google account you purchase come preverified (so no SMS phone # verification is required) and with a predetermined username and password?
How about fluffypony 2.0?
Fuck this thread.
If you don't have anything useful to contribute here (which you never do), then get the fuck off my thread.
If they put fixed offers at the time higher the market price would you take it? You fucking wouldnt is my guess
My expectation is that they all should be slightly higher than the market price so that the seller can make a profit. That's how it was with all trades on localmonero. Have you even ever done a cash by mail trade?
could be a old listing, and if you try to trade they will cancel and relist at the current rate
Isn't this kind of a bullshit reason akin to a "bait and switch" offer that would make people hesitant to use RetoSwap?
OK, I guess I'll take your word for it, but XMR never was offered for less than market value for cash by mail trades on localmonero.co.
Letely, the price is going up but many of those offers may have been made a day ago or something.
This is the whole thrust of my question. Are these "old" offers from "a day ago" that will suddenly increase when I respond to the "old" offer or are the sellers committed to the advertised price, even if it's below market value?
Also, some people may be willing to take a little haircut to get the trade done fast.
Really? Sellers do that?
I don't understand what you mean. Right now the value of 1 XMR is $213 USD. There are sell offers ranging from $208 to $236. The cash market exchange rate should be the same for all offers, right? Why would someone want to sell XMR for below market rate?
I think you misunderstood my question. I posed it as a buyer responding to a sell offer. Why would a seller offer XMR for $5 less than market value and want to lose money?
On Haveno RetoSwap, why are some cash by mail offers less than the current XMR price?
On Haveno-Reto, in cash by mail offers, is it possible to see the online username of the seller (and thereby know their Local Monero reputation) prior to choosing a seller?
