I am baffled by the idea that past lives would change anything about the present. Like, am I going to get sued (or perhaps rewarded) by "my" participation in a past life? Am I now more important for having been Alexander the Great, or less important for having been a peasant?

(I'm sure someone has thought about this more than me)

I am pointing out the absurdity of saying someone not doing something that only heads of state or large organisations do. What does it matter if I personally sanction Israel? I don't have the resources of millions of people at my disposal.

I, personally, have sanctioned Israel, and am seeking to join the South African case at the ICJ.

I've never watched the show and such qualities were not included in the list of why she was popular. The clips I've seen make my skin crawl.

She is popular because she claims to have come from poverty so she is the bootstrap queen. Also she very publicly struggled and won against obesity, credit where credit is due.

I feel like this isn't a total explanation. I know many people who are poor and have lost weight, but they don't have a giant audience for it.
