Yeah, but all the groups I feel like I'm being subtly excluded from are neurodivergent. Some of it is my own trauma, but also some of it is because a lot of people don't know how to end a sentence in the middle of a conversation.

Earnestly, it seems way more useful for states seeking to escape the US monetary system than individuals. If North korea wants to store its money in a way that the US can't just neuter trivially (as they did with Russia's US dollar reserve), then bitcoin is not the worst option.

It's very helpful to be able to tell if someone is looking your direction, as a driver and even more importantly as a pedestrian.

My dad was a coder who graduated in 77 (I think) (back when it was a subset of electrical engineering at the local university) and did ok for himself.

I am baffled by the idea that past lives would change anything about the present. Like, am I going to get sued (or perhaps rewarded) by "my" participation in a past life? Am I now more important for having been Alexander the Great, or less important for having been a peasant?

(I'm sure someone has thought about this more than me)
