Je suis TS bénévole à destination des personnes en grande détresse, y compris des migrants mais pas que, et la notion de mérite est clairement établi et indépendante du besoin. On aide, on nourrit, on héberge et on éduque, mais ça vient avec des contraintes, des règles à respecter. Si elles ne le sont pas c'est relativement fréquent qu'on soit obligé de refuser ou de faire partir des gens.

Il y a des gens dans le besoin, qui n'ont pas eu le comportement nécessaire pour "mériter" l'aide et donc oui, il y a du triage.

J'ai déjà refusé une visite médicale a une personne malade parce qu'il avait aggressé une de nos infirmières. D'autre parce qu'ils se battaient dans la file d'attente. J'ai viré des gens du centre d'hébergement, refusé une distribution de nourriture, l'accès au douche et j'en passe.

That reminds me of work. I'm old, young me has been through the mistakes and the pain of wanting to control and self-host everything.

(we're in a banking related field).

Our estimated internal cost ended up about 6x the one of the SASS solutions and still wasn't as reliable.
