Ich traue weder dem durchschnittlichen Reddit User noch dem durchschnittlichen Lemmy User zu, flairs richtig anzuwenden. Deshalb habe ich die auf Reddit nie benutzt und werde sie wahrscheinlich auch auf Lemmy nicht nutzen 🤷♂️
Die Post zahlt für verlorengegangene Pakete, also ja, der Paketbote kriegt dann einen Anschiss. Glaube aber wenn das bei einer Adresse zu oft passiert, dann kriegen die keine Pakete mehr oder nur noch persönlich überreicht. Die Post hat das Recht die Zustellung zu verweigern.
Up to 10 per year as a goal is a joke. US and China launch about 60 rockets a year each. Of course they can't get even close to that with Ariane 6 because their production facilities don't allow that sort of production cadence and they couldn't be bothered to make the rocket reusable. They considered making a reusable rocket more than 20 years ago but didn't for some reason. Probably to expensive upfront. Even if they started developing one 10 years ago when it became apparent that reusability is the way to go that would've been fine but ofc there was too much pushback. This is a crisis of their own making, they had every chance to prevent it.
Yeah, I totally agree. I suspect that some people use it as an excuse because they don't actually want to publish the code.
It is not open source. Apparently the creator is considering making it open source once he's cleaned up the code a bit. For whatever that's worth.
Isn't there like 6-7 parking spots for every car in the us? Taking up 4 seems fine then 🤷♂️
What do you need an announcement for? They'll have informed the affected subscribers by mail, as they always do, and adjusted the prices on the sign-up page. Who else needs to be informed? I don't really give a shot about the pricing of a service I don't use.
