  • I get this. If I wasn't already familiar and comfortable with OSX, I wouldn't have been nearly as confident switching over and knowing how to tweak things.

Both NYC and LA have good ramen places. Doesn't mean I'm only a hurry to get on the 405 in a new car when I know the MTA map like the back of my hand.

  • The underrated combos is where the gains are.

    Anchovies with olives and capers.

We all know pineapple and Canadian bacon (can also be Spam).

    Pepperoni and jalapeños.

Blue cheese, fig, and caramelized onion.

Pesto as the sauce under the cheese and fresh or sun dried tomatoes on top.

  • Zebra is the solution.

Zebra are assholes. They can't be trained or domesticated. Their meat is delicious, and I delight in eating it. I get why lions love them.

But I would sooner spend $20K at the vet on a horse than eat one.

  • People in places where there's a lot of crocs around generally don't like to eat them because there's a non-zero chance that you're eating a croc that ate someone you know. Farmed Crocs are the workaround, but especially across rural southern Africa, there's as much stigma with croc meat as Americans with horse.

  • I mean, there's about 387 million Nollywood and Ghannywood movies set in villages or small towns.

The South African series Trackers is awesome, and has some rural settings. But it's highly produced drama.

Some episodes of Ultimate Braii Master or Taste of South Africa show less rural settings.

There's a season of 90 Day Fiance with Baby Girl Lisa and Usman that shows pretty accurate village life.

  • Doing a dual boot for Windows and Linux Mint is shockingly easy. Mint will do the work for you from the install USB. I think I did that about a year ago, and haven't been back over to Windows in months. 9/10, would recommended.

At this point, troubleshooting, when/if needed, can start with ChatGPT for very basic stuff, then the Linux Mint forum if you happen to come upon a real head scratcher. That's most likely to come from your computer having some obscure or super new component that doesn't have quite the right drivers yet. Which isn't a common experience anyway.

  • Not even. It's a two-pronged populist treat.

    1. You did the thing and released the docs.
    2. No matter what comes out, it will be boring and droll. And the documents being old means there will be gaps. That allllllllllll pushes the far right conspiracy loons directly into "tha Deep State did um!"
  • Their horns are massive (they are the size of a small horse) and the older ones get scars on their backs from running through dense foliage and their horns being yanked back. These things run at the sliiiiiightest sign of trouble, so it's adaptation that simply being able to run through brush and not break their own necks, and fight other males, are complimentary.

They are beautiful, delicious Chads, and they know it.

  • So even the most sophisticated profiling is wrong a significant part of the time.

Great. Glad its been so worth it to scoop up all my data and leak it everywhere just to not know how to use it for your stated intended purpose.
