I'm literally in the exact same boat, I had more or less stopped flipping to this game thinking "TSIO will be special this year, UGA is now a possible to probable win". Happened to look at my scores page and see the game was competitive all of the sudden and flipped in time to see Georgia go up. Neither team has put together a full game yet, but theoretically both teams have shown the ability to win any game they're in so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Man I hope you didn't stop watching, what the fuck is this game?
What does it mean to be the "most liberal college" in florida? Is this in the actual college administration? As my understanding and experince indicates that colligate student bodies trend liberally to begin with, and I've seen nothing to indicate that would change even in the hellhole that is florida. (Yeah rich coming from Tennessee, I know, but I'm genuinely curious)
Hot damn, Illinois has already scored and they're still walking on the field in the UGA/bama matchup? Wow espn is gonna overproduce the shit out of this
Auburn and Ole Miss wearing full suits doesn't even make sense to me, an SEC fan
🚨🚨🚨AMAZING PUNT ALERT🚨🚨🚨
Arkansas's Devin Bale nails a coffin corner in the Southwest Classic
Hearing the Avengers theme finally making its way into some of the bands' repertoires, kinda surprised it's taken so long. Lil Nas X's Industry Baby got playing time like right away. Must be disney pulling strings...
Army
They're also tied for the longest active winstreak... I might be about to rank Army
lmao he missed it the second time as well
Yeah the Chinese fire drill FG is just fucking dumb
Also are we allowed to say Chinese fire drill these days? Asking for a friend who wants to be respectful of all cultures
Supposedly these plays get sent to the league office for further review, but idk what comes after this so called review
OU whatca doin baby? Daddy needs his quality wins
LMAO, THE MADLADS DID IT
Might've scored too quickly as well
Certainly not offensive PI there, no siree
I feel so vindicated with how the game has progressed so far, I've been saying that the land sharks have needed to be on upset watch all week long
WHO THE FUCK IS BYE? DON'T MATTER, VOLS BY FIDDY
They apparently saw something, I think people are massively upset with the ruling either way. But wow, what an ending
Well this won't be a controversial ending
Seriously amazing play there, we'll just ignore the massive hold

The Southeastern Conference has established a scheduling format for the 2025 football season, it was announced Wednesday.
Welp, I'm happy with this. TN plays alabama, florida, Kentucky fulfilling my criteria for a schedule. We even play Vandy so the blue hairs can be happy and Georgia so idiots who think they're a blueblood can be happy too!
Edit: although now that I'm looking at it, it's just this year's schedule with flipped home games...

I think obvious strikes and home runs, like banning advertising that shows how gambling works seems like abstinence only education. But no advertising during sports events is a slam dunk, to switch to another non football sport analogy.

Whose seat is hotter? Who isn't surviving the season? Could this get any funnier for Miami fans?

The Colorado Buffaloes marching band is not allowed to play the school's fight song after Shedeur Sanders touchdowns, and it has Deion Sanders to thank.
Got nothing against rap, but if I were a Buff this would be enough for me to automatically call for Dieon's head. The pageantry of CFB is what sets it apart from the sterile Sunday games
Probably won't be super active in this one, so feel free to make jokes at my expense

Doin my best dogwood maple:
- FSU is the 3rd program in the (public) history of odds making to lose their first 2 games as a double digit favorite. They lost both games by double digits
- In both of their opening games FSU was playing the only nationally broadcast game in their time slot.
- So far in 2024 FSU is the losingest P4 program in 2 different countries
- 2024 FSU is the fourth AP Top 10 team to start 0-2 in the last 10 seasons. (including 2017 FSU)
- In the 2024 season AP top 25 programs have started 18-2 against unranked opponents
- FSU is 0-2 at the end of week 1
