Top Russia diplomat warns west not to fight ‘nuclear power’ in UN speech
  • Notice how china and the USA never bother waving their nuclear dicks in the air. Fucking Pakistan doesn’t bother with that shit. The blyats, on the other hand, have promised nuclear war how many times, now?

These fucking idiot blyats can’t take a lesson from history. TF they think is gonna happen, Ukraine is just going to roll over? It’s going to be a long, bloody war of attrition, and in the end, the defenders always win.

  • If Trump loses the election and flees to another country to avoid his sentencing in his (multiple) lawsuits, does the Secret Service have to go with him?
  • USSS is on this guy like flies on shit and you’d better believe he’s not going anywhere if he loses the election. TF do you think Harris is gonna do, just be like “yeah, that trump guy, fuck him, whatever.” Everyone knows that he’s a tremendous national security risk (which truly blows my mind - assholes are going to actively vote to sabotage their own country).

  • You Didn't Build That
    1. Get phd.
    2. realize it’s a fucking scam.
    3. look for jobs.
    4. find one, realize it’s a viable career path.
    5. be strategic about pivoting until you’re handling accounting and investments.
    6. learn shit.
    7. get fat pockets.
  • You Didn't Build That
  • Bro. I saw the light and left academia shortly after my phd. I make a very good living doing other shit, mainly managing money and people. I do better than most tenured profs. So can you.

  • Do you dislike HR in workplaces?
  • HR is valuable only at the margins, when someone is a real PITA and needs to be fired, or when there’s some niche legal employment issue. Which is to say, HR is necessary, if mostly worthless.

  • What are these called, and can I fix this leak myself?

Noticed a slow leak underneath my basement sink when the washing machine was draining. What are these pieces called (green arrows), and can I fix this leak myself? The leak is at the location where the metal-looking cylinder (which flexes a bit - probably plastic) enters the white nut-like thing at the P pipe (red arrow). I have fixed basic plumbing before. Or should I just call a plumber?
