Don't worry about it being "nothing" for the seasoned Linux people (not that I think of myself as an expert by any means)! With the exception of some pretentious assholes, I think most of us are just happy to see people embracing Linux and trying out new things. It's great that you're here. :) To echo another comment on here, don't get discouraged when something inevitably goes wrong and you have to spend a long time troubleshooting! Happens to all of us, especially when you're new. The good news is there's a big community here to help you.
