You can send SMS on iPhone with the Google voice app. Yes it would be from a different phone number than your SIM, but it works.
Their pricing is rather premium. They ought to make it a lot cheaper if they want wide adoption since the competition is “free”.

My gut tells me cash should be some kind of baseline. A hedge against digitally enforced tyranny. One should not be forced to use “technology” (beyond that which needs to exist for a cash based system?) to interact with the larger economy.
Or am I doing it wrong? My expectation is that when I block a community it will stop showing up in my feed including “all”. This is not happening. Blocked communities are still showing up. Can anyone help? Thanks!
