We're not saying we should ban it, we're saying we should discredit these publications because they are willingly giving a platform to extremist rhetoric. Nobody is saying this should be illegal, we're saying "Stop reading the New York Times, they've gone full accelerationist"
According to Ryujinx developer and discord moderator Riperiperi, "[On September 30] gdkchan was contacted by Nintendo and offered an agreement to stop working on the project, remove the organization and all related assets he's in control of. While awaiting confirmation on whether he would take this agreement, the organization has been removed, so I think it's safe to say what the outcome is. Rather than leave you with only panic and speculation, I decided to write this short message to give some closure"
Seems like this was a deal done behind closed doors between the project owner and Nintendo. It's completely reasonable to expect someone else to pick up the project under a different name, using source code available from earlier forks.
Unfortunately, this will further splinter the Switch emulation development community, and cause any work that was not yet release-ready (such as features detailed by Riperiperi later in the same announcement as the one quoted above) to likely never see the light of day.
Balderdash, the specificity employed in this context was superfluous in comparison to the minimum required for conveying his emotional response to the situation.
This looks more like modern art than a peripheral
Parasocial relationships go brrr
Package manager choice is pretty important, and for that I always recommend debian-based for a pc for a new Linux user. APT is just so good.
It always seems like 1 step forward, 2 steps back with console gaming

While accurate, we'll probably never find out if they end up being the ones responsible for his assassination.
Yeah I know he is already, but if he becomes more overt about it then the government will be more likely to be overt about treating him as such
The virtual particle explanation is wrong because it implies that virtual particles have a negative mass density on one side and a positive mass density on the other, and that by some unexplained mechanism the negative half of that mass density falls into the black hole more commonly than the positive mass density. This is the opposite of what you would expect, as negative mass would have negative acceleration, and would fall AWAY from the gravitational pull of the black hole, not towards it. This is simply not how virtual particles work. This explanation is mistakenly treating virtual particles as classical objects, rather than a phenomenon that is predicted by quantum field theory.
The real explanation is above my paygrade to describe, but it is a phenomenon related to the Casimir effect, where the space between the metal plates is analogous to space time existing after the creation of the event horizon.
There's a limit to how big they can grow through accretion, yes, but no limit to their mass through mergers.
Counterargument: everything is limited, and all joyful people are imbeciles to some extent
Or rather, they assassinate him themselves, since someone who has held clearance higher than any other member of the US government is a liability if he becomes disloyal to the US
Could I theoretically make my home immune to guns by surrounding it with kevlar-coated MRIs
I mean, a single cigarette per year is pretty safe if you can resist the addiction.
It's an annual streak bonus
This is a perfect candidate for the gunius/idiot bell curve meme
Medical device manufacturers also threatened iFixit because it posted ventilator repair manuals on its website.
What the fuck is wrong with people. Anyone who opposes the right to repair for MEDICAL DEVICES is irredeemable.
