The week-long celebration of community and collaboration will offer volunteer opportunities, a full lineup of community workshops, and events for all ages across Pierpont’s campuses in Fairmont, Bridgeport, and Clarksburg.
The week will kick off on Monday, November 11 with a Day of Service offering several opportunities for individuals to join Pierpont faculty, staff, and students in making an impact in their local communities. The Day of Service will kick off at 10:00 a.m. at Pierpont’s Advanced Technology Center in Fairmont with a welcome from President Hayward. Volunteers will then disperse to their respective sites, which include the Union Mission of Fairmont for gift wrapping, designated food drive delivery locations to drop off non-perishable food items, and the VA Hospital in Clarksburg to deliver greeting cards for patients.
On Tuesday, November 12, community members are invited back to Pierpont’s Advanced Technology Center for a luncheon featuring the “reintroduction” of the institution as West Virginia’s newest standalone community and technical college. Registration is required for those planning to attend.
