Are NAS-rated drives REALLY worth it?

  • Considering the prices are simlar, I'm not sure what the purpose of NAS drives are other than running a little quiter than enterprise grade server drives.

    • Does anyone else use Enterprise U.2 SSD drives on a desktop PC or Mac?

  • I use U.2 NVMe SSDs in my workstation which are directly connected to the slimline SAS ports on the motherboard using slimline SAS to u.2 cables.
