  • I’m sure it was all planned between JT and Freeland. JT had decided to step down weeks before that. She did the letter to separate her from JT and be able to run for the leadership. It wasn’t enough for her to break the stigma though.

  • She will be invaluable to the country going forward.

  • Mildly Infuriating @lemmy.world

    Having a vowel movement

  • Was going to reply the same.

  • Shouldn’t be going to Loblaws regardless.

  • “It failed by a vote of five yeas to seven nays, with Dudas and couns. Glen Gower, Rawlson King, Jeff Leiper, and Shawn Menard voting in favour. Mayor Mark Sutcliffe and couns. Matt Luloff, Cathy Curry, Tim Tierney, Riley Brockington, David Brown, and Catherine Kitts voted against the motion”

I will be emailing my councillor, David Brown, and voicing my displeasure.

  • She has experience dealing with Trump successfully. She would probably be the best choice in that regard IMHO. She also has experience dealing with Russia. Putin and Trump are both afraid of her. She is also smart as hell.

Unfortunately, she does not have a good rep country wide, and too much baggage with the Trudeau government. And sadly, there is a large portion of people in Canada that could not vote for a woman, which is disgusting in this day and age. I think she would make a great leader, but feel she would have zero chance of winning a federal election.

  • Those chucklefucks are not Canadian.
