In Chinese, plural forms are almost non-existent. The name of the song is 瓜老外, in which 瓜 means stupid, 老外 refers to foreigner (or foreignerS, see? that's what makes things tricky). However, in this context, "瓜老外" refers to a specific type of foreigner, rather than referring to all foreigners in general.

Melon means stupid, in Mandarin it would be {傻瓜|shagua} meaning stupid melon. Xiedi is speaking in Sichuan dialect

Papyrus and sans are a classic fall guy and straight man shtick. Papyrus being the fall guy is kinda more endearing and earnest, i feel, so I can see why you like him

I'm still so on the fence about him. His shtick is being really in your face, but he also seems to have amazing self-restraint and self-awareness. Like there were countless times during the China trip where he was being actively provoked, or someone tried leading him into saying something inappropriate, and he didn't take the bait or was able to deflect or de-escalate.
