  • The best alternative to commercial CAD systems is commercial CAD systems if you know what I mean. That said, FreeCAD is the only option if you want to run on Linux. Inventor, Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc, are all borked even in wine.

  • It does get better. Mine are 1 and almost 4 and you get breaks but dear god, it is hard sometimes. On the flip side, it is an amazing feeling when your kid shows you full amount of love another human can possibly show.

  • Fedora Silverblue was VERY easy to install. I opted to go the GNOME route but its been great so far as a former windows user. I rebased from Fedora to Bazzite and it was dead simple. Been on Bazzite for a couple months now and have had no major issues. Figuring out my printer drivers was a bit tedious but it worked the first time once I got the process figured out.

  • Yeah, I get that. Standard operating procedure for something as valuable as an aircraft carrier should still be to schedule transit so that it can sit in a position protected by escorts until it is it's turn to go.

Realistically, the carrier should probably have half it's escorts go first and form a protective envelope on the destination side before it enters, then the remaining escorts follow providing rear cover.

A ship getting there by accident means someone also could have done it on purpose without the crew knowing it was an attack (this time)

Its sloppy at best, neglegent at worst and not a good look either way.

  • I really want perez to drive for another team just to find out if the rb from the last few years really was as hard to drive as implied or if it was him slipping.

I wish they had put Lawson, yuki, Danny ric in it as a further comparison between the driver pool.

  • First car was/is my grandfathers 2001 Toyota Tundra, got it stock with 67k miles on it and it now has 297k it is not stock anymore... Supercharged, custom long travel suspension, 4wd conversion, dual battery, solar, onboard air, lots of other stuff. Trying to wrap up the engine management and digital dash setup now.

I then bought a new 2011 Mini Cooper S as a commuter car and drove that until 2019 when it finally became to unreliable.

I sold that car with 125k miles after doing a ton of repairs for my current dd.

2019 Subaru WRX Series Gray with 67k that I paid off last Friday. Mostly stock but I did install STI 4 piston brembos that I color matched to the paint.
