Since Google wants to take the TikTok crowd, they are boosting Shorts. So content creators are pushing Shorts.
I think he means reaction content. Where some influencer or some other reacts to viral stuff or whatever. Most are shit.
But if you managed to find it there are some good ones where they add good content on top.
I personally am following a chef doing this reaction content. He adds a lot of advice and suggestions for the normal home cooks.
What I wish is more viable is the Huawei Pura SomeNumbers. It's passport sized when closed, with a usable portrait-ish small outer screen to fit besides two cameras. Opens like a book into a landscape orientation, to a 16:10 ratio screen. A dream device.
Too bad it's locked in China. Technically.
Xiaomi and Poco phones are champions of bang for buck most of the time. But always at the cost of whatever data collection and ads.
It's made worse that Xiaomi have been clamping down on unlocking the bootloader with more and more hoops.
Agreed. At least there are efforts to salvage it.
I do when I can remember the dream. I either will grab my phone and tap down as quickly as being just awoken as I can, or grab my "random brain dump" notebook / paper. Whichever is closest.
I'll get back to it and copy the writing into a specific dream journal on my phone.
I hardly jot down introspection / review of my dreams though.
One of the reason I can think of is some kind of "match" making. idk I never played with randoms. I especially do not want to play with randoms in a game that "requires" mic input for the monster mechanics.
Also probably P2P or player-hosted is such a foreign concept nowadays, since almost anything online-only is all centralized.
I use Thunder on Android for my lemmy.zip account.
Interstellar for my kbin.earth and fedia.io accounts.
Trying out piefed with piefed.social because of their Topics and custom feeds. No "release ready" mobile apps yet, but IIRC either Interstellar or Thunder is trying out supporting piefed.
I think I'm going to like piefed for the custom feeds. That's my most missed function from reddit, the multireddits. Their default Topics works well enough, but I have my opinions on it, and piefed allow I can set my own.
I don't really use other fedithings. I'm like the normies, I want some kind of algo-feeding for microblogging and whatever instagram is categorised as, except for the threadiverse/reddit-like.
