  • I thought patches were moved to Tuesdays? Or at least it seemed that way. These past few weeks, it's felt like it's always both Tuesday AND Thursday.

  • On one hand, I'm glad the new crew is addressing issues quickly. On the other hand, it'd be nice to have a couple days without a maintenance window.

    PC Patch Notes for 2/20/25

  • It was quite a full episode. Lots of content. It started slow (and a bit childish), then quickly turned ::: spoiler spoiler dark :::

I enjoyed it, as far as addressing one of my least favorite arcs. So, glad in two ways that it dropped.

Also, yeah.... that room was creepy, IMO.

    A message from DECA Games

  • If it's in the post, it might be the only one they'll do. Then again, that won't exactly "remind" the console crew. :/

  • starting on February 11th, 2025 and continuing until March 14th, 2025 on PC,

    ...

and on March 11th, 2025 and continuing until April 10th, 2025 on Xbox and PlayStation

  • Aye! For me, I have two keys I toggle back-and-forth through most of the engagement. One keybind is set for all my attack powers in a specific order, then all of my heals/buffs in a specific order. I press one, then press the other, then the first, then the second, again and again.

I also have "spacebar" for attacks, but those are my trigger finger powers for specific "shots".

    Section 31 Giveaway

  • From January 14th at 8am PT to January 21st at 12pm PT on PC, your Admiralty missions will give out bonus rewards

  • Seems so. I don't envy the ancient code they must have to comb through for new/better things, but at the same time I'd really like to see better use of Tribble as a test server before patches are pushed to Production.

  • We are aware of problems with loadouts and traits after yesterday’s maintenance and we’re looking into it.

Hmmmm. OK, good. Glad they're looking into it and kudos for speaking to it immediately. Even so, I know this may blow the minds of many game studios these days, but.... Try rolling back a/the bad patch and then doing internal QA testing before pushing it to production.

    Hearts and Minds Returns

  • True, but isn't it kind of a fun trope for the game at this point? Perhaps even a trope for the shows?

  • Hopefully they'll work the update into a story. It'd be nice to have more narrative to changes within the game, as the new team takes over.

  • Note: This Earth Space Dock update is going live on PC at a later date (not 12/11). We'll keep you updated, and until then, enjoy this behind-the-scenes look!

  • The mugato was an excellent choice!

  • The intent behind my original reply was to complain and hope for a change in how dark recent Trek shows have been, except SNW. I know we all have our favorites; I'm just not at all a fan of this trend of the bad guys being cool in Star Trek. Again, in Star Trek. The casts, the acting, the production are all great and I'm glad more Trek exists; I, personally, just wish it was a bit more shiny.

Do I want those shows not to exist in the first place? No. I just don't rewatch them like I do others, thus I don't care to make pumpkins about starring characters who are not the characters I'd want in humanity's future.

  • That's great! My original en-edited reply congratulated you, but then I thought, "This is the internet. Burrito Trucks can't carve pumpkins...." LOL

    My favorite is the Mugato.
