Yeah that happens - I was helping at a screening on a Cuban film recently and someone walked in and said “oh I heard about this because I follow X on BlueSky” (me). Bit embarrassing and surreal!

It’s a terrible habit but whenever we make a ‘big’ statement, I’ll do a google searches for mentions about us in the last week. This thread/site came up.

Thanks for sharing our statement - it’s important that people know that transphobia isn’t baked into the Marxist-Leninist tradition, instead it’s something that’s emerged alongside opportunism, as seen in Britain but also in America with the new American “Communist” Party.
