  • Camera-shy hoodie

We need something like this for daytime.

Also, read up on what they are ultimately going for: Eliminating the First Amendment

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

  • Just double checked and the chairman is indeed Jim “Gym” Jordan Sick fuck

Jordan was an assistant coach with Ohio State University's wrestling program from 1987 to 1995.

Richard Strauss was the wrestling team physician during Jordan's tenure. Strauss died by suicide in 2005. In April 2018, Ohio State University began an independent investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct by Strauss. Of the 177, 153 were student-athletes, of which a plurality (48) were members of the men's wrestling team.: 43

Several involved persons have stated that Jordan surely knew of Strauss's criminal misconduct but did not report it. Other wrestlers and Head Coach Russ Hellickson said he may not have known about the abuse. A spokesperson for Jordan denied the allegation, saying that "chairman Jordan never saw or heard of any abuse, and if he had, he would have dealt with it". No wrestlers have accused Jordan himself of sexual misconduct, but four former wrestlers named him as a defendant in a lawsuit against the university.Jordan has denied any wrongdoing and has described his accusers as "pawns in a political plot".

(Sorry the formatting is messed up. On my phone and just woke up lol)

  • Somewhere I saw a documentary where the historian was walking through the place as she explained its history and construction. With context removed, it sounded like and appeared she was in a cathedral. Roman civil engineering never ceases to impress and amaze me.
When I was a kid, my uneducated, Italian immigrant uncles started 2 separate construction companies doing what they knew: one specialized in masonry and the other in concrete construction work. Both had municipal contracts and were very prosperous. They died before I was old enough to learn their methods, ask questions and listen to their stories. Seeing places like this makes me wonder how much of it was handed down over the centuries and I am sad that it has been forgotten in my lifetime. Thanks for the share!

Great post with pics of supporters outside the courthouse

  • Ooh, I’m so jelly of working in a barn and near horses! Ouch re: your ankle. Bummer about aqua therapy. It was very hard to find for me too. But it sounds like you’re all set for the task, so here’s wishing you good luck! Do post updates for us concrete jungle types.

  • I went to a store recommended by a podiatrist. I was assessed and fitted well with good shoes. The foot pain I had disappeared and has remained gone for about 12 years now. I’ll heed a professional who’s been trained in physiology and medicine.

What 30 years in the medical field has taught me is that each and every human being and body is unique. I’m glad you found relief, but please don’t paint with a broad brush that one person‘s solution is everyone’s.

  • As someone working on getting into shape again after a back injury, the best thing for me at first was walking. Lots of walking. Go to a good shoe store and have someone assess your gait and fit you with a good pair of trainers; makes a lot of difference in how you feel and helps minimize the impact on your joints and back. Also, if you need PT, having it in a pool has been a complete game changer for me. Of course, check with your doc.

Good luck! Keep us posted and give her a banana for me. She’s beautiful 🤩

  • House was broken into while I was at work. They’d gone through the house and messed it up a bit. But when I got to the bedroom, they’d flipped the mattress and taken the pillow cases off. Couldn’t sleep in that bed for maybe six months. Slept on the couch. Even had my bow next to me too for a while.

Cop who showed up told me to get a sawed off shotgun and/or a big dog. Ended up moving 8 months later bc I never felt safe again.

Sorry about the car. That happened to me too, long time ago. We were walking out from work at night on Black Friday and saw them in my car. I caught and tackled one of them and beat the shit out of him. Other 2 the cops got.

  • Making sure there’s no traceable evidence of any of the nightmares they’re cooking up. But that’ll never happen anyway, fucker’s going to get away with it all. But I’m sure Vlad’s guys hooked him up nicely, perhaps as a welcome back gesture.
