I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. I finished Borderlands 3, and i have to say that I found it mostly tolerable, which is a massive step up from BL2 (which i hated). I have also been playing minecraft for the first time since before COVID
This is a stupid thing to get sad about but my debit card # was swiped so I had to cancel but I had had that # since I was 16 and opened the account to deposit the paychecks from my first ever job so a other link to my childhood has been severed
Forgot to post this yesterday. Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend. Because I hate myself, I have started playing Borderlands 3 for the 1st time. It's actually quite tolerable when playing with the dialogue muted. The main villains being a streamer duo is very funny to me in a way Gearbox probably didn't intend. Anyway, have a good week everyone
Howdy everyone, hope everyone had a good week. I have been playing XCOM2 again and Civ IV.
I've been watching Northernlion play it on stream
BO2 vs bots is absolutely goated. So many fun memories of my and my brother playing Nuketown against 12 bots
Hello to my fellow Americans, hope you are making the most of your long weekend. I finished my BG3 playthrough as "The Dark Urge". I think the Urge origin character is a very fun playthrough, and enhances the story a bit because now your character is intertwined with the main villians, rather than just some guy who happened to also be on the Nautaloid. I also used this playthrough to experiment with different playstyles, and I gotta say, having 2 paladins in your party is OP. Hope everyone is having a safe weekend
Hello everyone. I have been continuing my 3rd playthrough of BG3, this time as "The Dark Urge". I am about 40% through Act 3. Hope everyone has had a relaxing weekend
Hello everyone, hope everyone is having a good weekend. I have been marching through my Dark Urge Baldur's Gate 3 run on tactician difficulty. I have arrived at Act 2. Hope everyone has a good week
Happy weekend everybody. I finished a playthrough of XCOM 2 and now have started a new playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3, as "The Dark Urge". Hope everyone's summer has been going well
Another run through of BG3 is definitely in my future
I finished my second playthrough of the Elden Ring DLC and the entire playthrough overall. I tried and tried to beat the final DLC boss without using summons or ashes, but the closest I got over many attempts was about ~30% health. I eventually broke and used mimic tear for the 2nd phase and beat it the 2nd time I reached that point. I've also been playing some XCOM2 on commander difficulty
Better nate than lever to post this. Anyway, I am almost done with my 2nd playthrough of the Elden Ring DLC. I have now beaten Gauis, Messmer, Midra, Metyr without summons or ashes. All that's left is the final boss solo. Messmer is honestly a fantastic fight. Have a good week everyone
I forgot to make a thread last week but oh well. I have been playing a new Elden Ring character. I originally thought I was gonna try to get to the DLC as fast as possible but I then decided "nah" and have played through most of the game, but have finally arrived in the DLC and have respec'd my build for Rellana's twin swords. Anyway, hope everyone has had a good week
I've been playing more Elden Ring, trying to level up a new character for a 2nd DLC playthrough. I've crossed off Radahn and now am just leveling myself up for an early Mohg.
I finished the Elden Ring DLC, and did cleanup afterwards because I missed a couple of mini dungeons. I definitely want to make a new character and go through again. Hope everyone has had a good weekend so far
Stardew Valley. You could argue the game's "story end' is completing the community center but there's literally a "Perfection" post game ending
I did that with Messmer lol. I beat him with mimic tear and immediately regretted it because I felt that he's a cool fight that I would have loved to have mastered. Gonna have to create a new character
It's all first area stuff, mostly him giving a joke condescending "git gud" speech while juxtaposed with him dying repeatedly
Everytime I got on Twitter or YouTube I risk seeing spoilers lol. I remember when Elden Ring originally came out I could only play on weekends because I traveled weekly for my job at the time and eventually the final 3 bosses were spoiled for me by youtube videos that showed up in my recommendations
I have finally started a new job after a month of listlessness, but all my spare time has been sunk into Shadow of the Erdtree. So far, I'm having a good time. Lots of exploring, and have bumped off 2 remembrance bosses.
I beat my first remembrance boss earlier today, definitely a trial and error affair. The open world seems tigher in scope but looser in direction at the same time. I got stopped dead cold by a boss in Jagged Peak and so turned to level my self up. Having a good time so far
I was soaking in the visuals and he scared the shit out of me lol
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I was on a beach vacation so I did no gaming this week besides emulated pokemon on my phone before bed.
I forgot to post this the past 2 weeks but im back. This past week a I played through the Demon's Souls remake to get ready for Elden Ring DLC. I also played some Binding of Isaac on the side. Haven't watched the Summer Games Fest, but everything I've heard is that it's been dreadful.
I forgot to post this yesterday because of life events. Anyway I played some Victoria 3 these past few days
Forgot to post this yesterday because I was at work all day but feel free to share what you've been playing in the past week
Another week of some binding of Isaac for me, but with the semester almost over I've been focusing mainly on academics with little time for gaming
I've capped off another week with more Binding of Isaac
The lord gave us Sunday for gaming
I've played a lot of Binding of Isaac: Rebirth this week. I was surprised that I remembered what most of the items do and which trinkets are bad. But my muscle memory has faded completely at this point and I die a lot.
I also dabbled a little bit with Stronghold: Crusader. Always a classic
As far as the main quest goes, you can't really do anything with the Followers, and the only thing you can do with the Kings is broker a treaty with the NCR if you're doing the NCR route.
I usually do:
Foil the Omertas
Expose the White Gloves
Convince the Khans to suicide attack the dam
Destroy the Brotherhood
Ally the Boomers
Honestly, that would be kind of hilarious
Stardew Valley. The premise is literally built around escaping from a former life to start anew
Europa Universalis 4
The key to doing a Joja run as fast as possible is to build a windmill and grow exclusively wheat in summer/fall to mill into flour. The profit margin on it is insane. Everything you do in spring should be to set yourself up to create a massive wheat field
Forever baffled they made the 2 main political entities 2 different flavors of Space America
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and its a damn shame FromSoft never did anything with it
