Over the last 30 years republicans only have won from either poor voter turnout or legally questionable actions, specifically Roger Stone getting bush elected in 2000 but also the constant attack on voting rights especially in liberal cities. Musk literally offered to pay people to vote in PA which is extremely illegal.
America always votes in its interest, Trump only got slightly more than 30% of America supporting him in the polls, that's abysmal. Most people don't vote because they are disenfranchised by a system that continues to disenfranchise them.
