My white whale is a 1986 Mustang GT, manual transmission. Had a chance to buy one for absolute peanuts in 2018 (at least, compared to their price now!). Was completely stock too, no mods. But the mechanic I hired to inspect it warned me off it because of its age...
1986 is the only year that came with fuel injection but still has the old "four-eye" styling. Realistically, that car was probably not right for me at the time, but man - it will forever be my one that got away
So recently, McDonald's came out with their "Minecraft Movie" meals - kinda like a happy meal, but it came with a whole-ass Big Mac. I find this so funny because essentially, they're admitting that they've shrinkflation'd their food so badly that their flagship burger is now so small, it's suitable for kids who are young enough to want the Minecraft theme and toys!!
Yeah this is a big gripe of mine. And I've been trying to be more conscious of buy Canadian now, but if I'm paying twice as much just to enrich the Canadian far-right billionaire instead of the American one, then what's the point?
Plenty of comments have already addressed the touchpads. But the other thing that only the steam deck does right now, is the symmetrical joysticks at the top of the device. Personally, I find having the right joystick farther down on a heavy handheld absolutely brutal for ergonomics, and it's the reason I never touch my Switch Lite
Maybe this is more an issue with my regional news... but my issue is less about the idiots - it's when the news does a story where they interview some well-meaning but not media trained person (like a progressive activist at a protest), but then for "balance", they bring in the fucking CEO of Orphan Crushing Inc. to eloquently say why having morals is evil and why the oppressors are actually the victims here. And then give him 90% of the screen time because he's the "expert"
Google frequently freezes reviews on places getting review bombed. Same thing happened to the hostel he was at, and even for much smaller places I've seen appear on the local news - that kinda thing
From my knowledge, it's kinda the opposite - when a device first runs out of battery, it's almost always the case that only one of the batteries is truly dead. So if you find that one dead battery and swap it out, you'll be good again for a surprisingly long while
I'm not fully in the loop, but I believe Bambu is pretty blatant about taking everything from the open source community and never giving back. And Josef Prusa even claims that Bambu Labs intentionally uploaded stolen models to Prusa's site, Printables, in order to see how Prusa handles it - so Bambu can reverse engineer Prusa's internal processes and clone them to Bambu's new website, MakerWorld
