  • I am also using Fedora on my Surface Go 1. Decent experience so far, but I can't wait for the Gnome mobile patches to come in. It feels slightly clunky to use with just the touch screen.

    • Which are your preferred laptops?

  • My HP envy x360 AMD with Fedora here. Build quality is really good and the laptop has a nice design.

  • They have moved their Gnome specific stuff in GTK to a library called libawaita. You can easily use GTK without much Gnome specific stuff.

  • Gnome is really nice, they really did a great job with Gnome 40 and the releases after that.
