I didn't get diagnosed until my late 20s....this is why.

Why the hell does this keep happening? I still hear horror stories of how people struggle for half of their lives and nobody stops to think "this isn't normal, we should see a doctor" and it just infuriates me.

Please, if it is negatively effecting your life or you get into arguments about it and it's effecting your social or home life, see a doctor.

  • Nothing here is a clinical diagnosis. They are just a lot of the things us with ADHD deal with on a daily basis that effects our lives enough that it severely diminishes our quality of life without physician help. See a doctor if these types of things are effecting your life in any significant way.

    Rule 1. Clinician or not, just because it effects other people, doesn't mean it doesn't effect those with ADHD. We're not doctors, we're people with lived experiences that always tell people to get checked by a doctor if they're affected by these symptoms in a way that it effects their lives.
