France, from what I gather, has more of a humane and rebellious spirit than the Americans, so maybe not (they're also not as brain-dead but that's a low bar, lol). But I'm no prophet, and I'll bounce to the global South eventually (in a decade or so, perhaps Malaysia) most likely either way.
Is the 'animal cruelty' taking place the mere mention of eating chicken sandwiches, which makes you sad? Are you the animal suffering from cruelty? Is the feeling so intense you had to come post about it here? Help me understand this post.
A good chunk of the world and some major players seem to be holding hands and establishing/continuing dialogue. Even Traoré, who reminds me of an African Simon Bolivar, was there and feeling it. Things seem like they're gonna get better for most of the world? Is virtue, or at least tolerance and dialogue before murder, gonna win against vice and immorality in my lifetime? I might just be too optimistic.

Goddamn did things change quickly, huh? So many hateful people in the US, I didn't even know it was possible to have a country when neighbours fear and hate each other this much. Oh well, it's not like it was ever gonna go in a different direction, this was always gonna be the outcome...

This is a time of change. America will balkanize and people will probably go deeper into immorality to hold on to their material standards (drug selling, prostitution, eventually looting and thieving will increase too). And if there are enough hearts and neurons between post American communities then maybe something can emerge from it, something entirely different than what America is and has always been. This is not an economic downfall, this is a civilizational collapse due to a faulty philosophy. Some optimistic analyst talked about it and maybe he's right (he was born in the States after all, maybe he has a more thorough understanding of the American psyche), maybe Americans can and will build something new, something moral, but I think it'll eventually devolve into a Mad Max situation before foreign intervention takes place.
Imagine being so insecure IN YOUR OWN THOUGHTS you need to delete posts constantly. Nah, I argue politely and eventually some sad nerd with an iota of e-power gets offended and my posts get deleted, lol.

Stupidity and lack of self examination are the rule, not the exception... but if they had heard that God really wanted them not to fornicate nor be adulterous and were surrounded by people who believed it so maybe, just maybe, whatever desires they had would've been channelled into monogamy, initially through peer pressure perhaps and eventually thanks to maturity and love for their partner as a person and not a tool for satisfaction.
What I meant by this is basically: few people will spend time of their day pondering about the ethical decisions they have made and will make, as they naturally don't gravitate to philosophy nor do they have the ease of thought that would make it a more pleasurable experience. And while a serious, self respecting intellectual might reach some moral conclusions 'naturally', the 99 others require an easy set of rules and a fear of inescapable punishment to act right on many occasions. This is why Catholicism, which is nothing more than a parasite wearing Jesus' skin, failed to provide an ethical framework to the West: either "you're already saved" or you can just go to the priest and tell him you did something wrong (while never fixing it, apologising to the other person or facing the punishment of the law for it...) and you're all good, nothing to worry about, God forgave you touching your little niece, lol.
Anyway, TLDR: it's sorta disappointing but keep in mind that the software can be easily changed in a generation or two. Those lacking in hardware have and will continue existing, but if we all agree on a set of basic rules and values, we can all live together in harmony and without disrespecting others.
So, if you're not white or passing, are you guys planning on staying there? I don't think America will be a livable place in a long, long time after it goes full V for Vendetta, it's possibly wise to start looking at exit strategies.
