Is this c/shittyaskscience or what?
Even the old 1060 in my truenas scale server, has worked absolutely flawlessly with my jellyfin server.
I just replaced it with jerboa while waiting, doesn't even matter what the icon is, my muscle memory still takes me here automatically lol.
I see this Google's system more like a "nice to have" feature than something anyone should rely on. I also doubt they marketed it as the be all end all warning system, that would have been incredibly stupid.
I'm not color blind and never realized that these are made to show different numbers for those who are and are not. Never paid any attention to it, but now I can clearly see the 74 is made of two different colors/shades. Huh.
Oh absolutely.
I pay 15€ per month for 1000/100 cable plan in Finland. It's a discounted price though, I believe the "real" price is like 40€/month, but it doesn't look like I'll have to pay that any time soon.
if you are lucky enough that your phone gets updated custom ROMs.
Less about luck and more about having a popular enough device. Less popular ones are way more unlikely to have them unfortunately.
And it's 100% not firefox's fault that some sites don't work on it. It's the fault of google coming up with propietary shit and lazy devs not bothering to test and optimize it for Firefox.
Having 3 kids in the way should never be a reason to noy be able to get help. It shouldn't be a privilege. It should be something anyone who needs can just get.
I'm lucky enough to live in a county where that's the reality, no matter how much money you have, help is available. I feel bad for people who don't have it likes this and I really hope it could be like this for everyone. Having to pay your ass out for help when you're physically hurt is alredy fucked up, and having to pay for help when your mentally hurt/vulnerable is honestly much worse. Even here where it's practically fee, it can still take a lot to eat your courage and seek help.
I'm unfortunately not in a situation where I can directly help anyone in a situation like that but god I hope you and everyone else can get the rights to get the fucking help you/they need whatever that help is.
Mental and physical we'll bring shouldn't be a fucking privilege, it should just be available to everyone. People often say this and that isn't a given ir shouldn't be, but if anything should this is exactly the dman thing that should be a given.
Sorru for any bad language, I'm a bit drunk and honestly feeling quite mad about this horrible shit people have to live with for no good reason.
Exactly. And even though I absolutely love love love linux,it's unfortunately just too unpractical for me to daily drive it on my main PC, as things like photoshop and 3D modeling software like fusion 360, are just too unstable on linux, despite the amazing efforts of projects like wine. They are pretty damn close and I'm sure they will eventually be perfect or at least almost so, but untill then I'll have to run Windows on it (which I also don't hate as much as some do, as I believe it also has its pros like the almost unparallel backwards compatibility, as we'll as it's negatives).
I also game and I'm so so happy that Linux is as close as it is to making gaming perfect on linux. I play like literally two games that eather didn't work perfectly, or not at all on Linux, when I ran fedora on my main machine for over 6 months a few months back. It really is amazing what things like proton have done to Linux gaming.
I'll keep occasionally trying how linux does for my main PC, and until I find it to be good enough for me I'll keep running it on my home server and secondary laptop. Last time I tried it was damn close, I'm really expecting it to be only a couple years untill I move to linux as my main OS.
What we really need is Photoshop in Linux. Yeah the free alternatives are super cool and definitely fine for lighter and more occasional use, but unfortunately I just don't think they'll ever be good for professional and more advanced hobby usage. I really fuckin hate adobe but at the same time Photoshop just is really good. We really do need a real competitor to Photoshop though, be it paid or free because Adobes business practices are getting ridiculously bad.
I'm super glad davinci resolve exists for video editing. Obviously not 100% feee and open source, but again it's hard to believe a completely open solution could ever compete with adobes offering as well as davinci does. It's both super nice to use, you can use it free or pay the imo very reasonable price for the professional license, which includes free upgrades for life! And wait, it also works on linux!! Almost unbelievable. I only wish it had h264 support on Linux for the free tier, but oh well... Nothing's perfect :)
I think they are selling to square space and I think their website builder is pretty damn good actually, but not sure if I'd want to buy a domain from them unless it's for a site hosted on squares space. I mean, they don't exactly specialice on selling domains, but then again not really did google eather so we'll see how the service will be I quess.
Taking long to release a new game isn't the problem imo. The real problem is how shit online was from day one and them starting to milk that online cow dry from day one with with boring grindy missions and microtransactions.
I'll see reviews and if the single player is good, and I mean really good, I'll wait for a PC release and buy it, but if that happens, I promise to never even touch any Rockstar online mode, unless a real miracle happens and they actually make it fun to play, which most definitely won't happen.
Then again wouldn't be too surprised if rockstar fucks up tue single player too this time. They probably eventually will do that to one of their games with how things have been going.
Single player is good. Online was always shit. I mean, at first online was really fun just messing with friends in the big map, but once that got old, there's nothing but grinding boring missions and microtransactions since day one.
Best part about onions is that if it's gone a little bad, just tear of layers untill you find a good layer.
