They gave the promotion to the friendly new girl. The one I trained for three months at the beginning of the year because she had no idea wtf she was doing. I've been here for over ten years. I consistently perform twice as much work as the average employee in my role. I am in the 98th percentile for work metrics, and have been for years.
I started presenting my resume to the company's competitors last week. For a cover letter I've been sending them a screenshot of my metrics compared to my coworkers. I just finished an interview for one and have another interview tomorrow for another.

[RANT]
I'm so tired of hearing this mentality in support of artificial scarcity and capitalism. Just because you would be a selfish, lazy ass, that produces nothing for society if you were not forced to, does not mean that is the same for everyone else.
I want to create. I want to spend my days using my creativity and education to design efficient homes, plan urban footprints that would promote community, local business, and agriculture.
