Jang Hee Bin (1995) For people who like kdramas, political historicals and "based on true story" shows, this would be an interesting one! A 17th century Korean middleclass girl escapes being a Court lady to become the Palace's top concubine and eventually Queen! Based on an 18th century folk telling of real historical events between 1680-1701. Also I subbed it so I'm proud of it as a translation work of mine lol
Bored to Death (2009 - 2011)
Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifianakis, Ted Danson form a weird and wonderful friendship that revolves around being detectives, drinking white wine, and a little bit of weed.
I don't think I've met anyone else who watched it, but I loved it and watched it all.
