A very close, very comfortable shave from this Évidé Sonnant. Perhaps the best edge that I've had on this razor. And, it was a test shave. Here's the honing video.
MdC Fougère and Nuàvia Verde really compliment each other. A pretty terrific fougère Friday, I'd say.
I seem to remember the Streamline (ok sorry, "Ambassador") that I borrowed from EldrormR being milder than this one. I still like the way this one shaves, but it feels similar to my other GEM razors aside from the Bullet Tip which is mild.
It was a beautiful day, and in the evening, I caught the sweet scent of hydrocarbures. Obviously, this needed to be extended. I took out the Stag – which I had unfortunately bought in the tallow version. It lathers not very well (at least with my hard water here), although it's slick enough. The aftershave is excellent, though.
The shave itself was good, and my face feels hydrated and relaxed.
Razor: Koraat Sparschweinchen (7/8", "Sheffield-style" full hollow, carbon steel)

Yesterday, I had broken up the ring of death to cover the bottom of the tub, and today's load already broke through it again. This thing is racing to its conclusion.
I added a talc step to the routine and thoroughly enjoyed it. I should just do it by default, it's always a plus.
The big Koraat is fun. The blade is great, but unlike most straight razors, the tang, the spine and the tail have been left raw. Love it.
Maybe, but I am not a fan of this sort of character – I like the shiny and polished stuff (probably because contrary to other humans, who descend from apes, I descend from magpies).
