Can anyone ID this pretty specimen? My scanner app failed.

Found today in western Germany

Not anything I have any expertise in, but searching by description it looks like a beefsteak fungus.
- That's looking good, thanks! It's even edible, who would've thought!
  
  For sure not the kind of thing I'd just take a chance on without knowing, but I suppose that's true for all of them.

- Agreed! Fistulina hepatica (beefstak fungus) looks pretty unique, I would be very surprised if this turned out to be anything else.
