How would you fare????
How would you fare????
How would you fare????
I don't think I could name 100 people under these rules.
Edit: Especially if we consider rule 7b (must be someone with real ass blood in their veins) to indicate that these people need to still exist today. So I can't just rattle off 40 historical figures to pad it out.
No it specifically says dead people are allowed despite the real ass blood comment. Thats just specifically that they cant be fiction. You can pad it out with historical figures for sure.
like I'd even be able to name 100 men
I prefer the superior challenge: name a woman
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
when you say name 100 women am i giving them names? because i got some cool names i think women should have like "megatron" and "grenna"
i'll just write maria 100 times and get it done in record time.
Ok Shadow
look its the same strategy i used in the 'name cities in europe' game. santa maria lighted up the whole map.
Underrated joke lol 😂
Me and my eight hundred thousand best friends, all named Kayleigh (no two use the same spelling)
Okay well, first off, I went to school with twenty seven Jennifers.
I'm not sure I could name 100 people tbh
It says googleable and most women I know have a linkedin. Checkmate atheists
Sorry not interested. Phone me when the respect 100 women contest kicks off
Can be streamers
No. No. No. No. No.
Not gonna do it cuz I am tired and all but I think I would fare pretty well. Just based on authors, actresses, politicians, and revolutionaries alone.
what's the point of knowing about people if people you know don't count
I get what you mean but autistically i have to clarify that for game purposes its because the other person needs to be able to verify they exist. Im guessing a mutual friend would be fine if you were doing this with a close friend irl.
Interesting, I will give it a try (cause I'm bored and why not)

It actually took me longer than I thought, about 35 min, and it did get pretty hard towards the end
Doing it off the top of my head:
Time: 29:05.25
Gonna go touch grass now, thanks.
#1 baybeeeee let's fuckin gooooooooo
Of course
I couldn't name 100 people if it was genderless, and now I have to divide the list in half smh my head
I would say the same, but have to admit that the list would had s lot more men than women.
Hmm....
So I know lots of women, but I haven't the faintest idea of their names; for example I know of Henry the VIII's multiple wives, I know of the woman who discovered something to do with radiation and had to be buried in a lead lined coffin, I recall the girl who used to kill Nazis and then killed her interrogator with his own gun, etc.
Marie Curie is the radium chick you're thinking about.
Amber.
The only woman I know, both in my personal life and the history, is Ada Lovelace because she was a programmer and that makes her a human being.
As far as I'm concerned, she was the only woman and there hasn't been another woman since.
I don’t think I could name 100 real public figure men that aren’t dead
(Dead is fine btw)
Oh you're a woman fan? Name 100
I would actualy tank this by semi-cheating. My autism special interest being Survivor makes it pretty easy because I know at least 100 women first and last name just based on that. There have been over 300 women on Survivor and I think I know at least 200 of their first and last names by heart. Plus i know a fair few from other reality shows like Big Brother.
And thats without even getting into ANOTHER niche special interest, pro wrestling. Womens wrestlers gets me another like 40 or so off the top of my head. And I have a good memory for public figure names so I'd fare decently well on the normal like actresses, singers, politicians, historical figures, and niche internet microcelebrities that most people are pulling.
I can't do this since I simply am not plugged into pop culture in any way, shape, or form. I doubt my ability to know 100 people let alone 100 women.
Damn, this was brutal. I managed to get 100 (well 99 listed here but I could name a local female politician):
This was really hard because I don't follow sports, celebrities, or music. I'm also not plugged in to weird streamer shit. This question is just tailor made for kpop stans. I supposed people who are really deep in Twitter drama can list those names since they're technically googleable.
I guess my main takeaway of this is for all the trashiness of celebrity and e-celebrity culture, it gives women their due while "classy" culture is just a parade of dudes.
Chyna <3
I sandra day oconnor, michelle bachmann, ciol, muse of history (she's real to me) anne bonny, anne rice, anne margaret, queen anne, claudia black, stoya, lena paul, missy, uhh, poe, fuck i'm having brain related name problems. Jewel, jewel staite, jennifer hale, marie curie, hedy lamar, madaleine albright, chelsea manning, natalie ironside, diora bairde, lorde, paris hilton,
This isn't fun i have problems with names. : (
I’d list the Brontë sisters and then think of another 50 women
Timer starts...now!
...time! Took me almost exactly 22 minutes. I got a little stuck after the small run of politicians because I was frustrated that I couldn't remember more (there were probably a half dozen that I could only remember last names of, for example), and then I went after meandering through a few actors and authors I went on an absolute tear of singers (I swear I did like 20 in the span of two or three minutes). My favorite parts were when I took wild turns because I pivoted on a similar name.
edit 2: I found it pretty funny that two other people listed
which was kind of an asspull for me. Guess it just means we're of a certain age...
Following women’s sports is a cheat code for this. Sports is pretty much just knowing a Bunch of Guys (or a Bunch of Gals)
gonna name 100 women streamers
Slightly harder than I thought it would be, but still easy enough
Lol I love following your brain. The lady Gaga made me laugh as well as the transition from Marian Williamson to the Williams sisters lol.
Anne Frank
Helen Keller
Lady Gaga
how do you go from one thing to the next like this
Do female musicians count if I only know their performing name and not their legal name?
I think literally everyone would say that just "Madonna" would count which to me opens up the rest of it to count.
If streamers are permissible, I'd say absolutely
All the wamen (except the ones I'm related to and or know personally) Ha, gottem.
Please I don't even remember the names of the people I speak to in class
I'd get to like 40 or so and then give up.
I did groups of 10 until I got to 80, at which point I made it a free-for-all. The toughest group was business, where I had to scrape the barrel with Coco Chanel and Elizabeth Holmes. Comrades was also tough. I didn't include Amber because I forgot her last name. I also had a whole "Ehh" section with socialites.
What I'm getting at is that I should read up on more and better women so if I have to do this again in a year I can do it without including chuds and Kardashians.
What even is a socialite?
Idle rich who spend their lives trying to win at high school. The list in question was:
Kim Kardashian
Khloe Kardashian
Kylie Jenner
Paris Hilton
Mary Kate Olson
Ashley Olson
Paris Hilton
Nicole Ritchie
and two who might not be "Ehh" but were brought to mind by others listed above.
Edit: ack, repeat. I suck at this.
Amber.
the (hopefully at least 100) girls reading this
not sure i can name 100 people if we're being honest
Doomed
Watching my favorite pokemon youtuber do this was hilarious
No mention of
in 83 comments? Shame shameHydaelyn
Ugh this is all I could get for now
Amber.
this is too much of a chore for me to type into gpt, even
Not good for me but I will try
Amber.
Amber.
Between contemporary politicians, musicians, actors, and athletes, I should get most (if not all) the way there. Sprinkle in a few historical figures and I'm home free. In case of emergency, I can always dip into my stash of streamers which alone could easily get me halfway to the finish line because I have permanent brain poisoning.
If you asked me this 10 years ago I could probably do it with K-Pop idols alone, but nowadays I don't think I could pull it off, at least not without some visual aids or something to jog my memory. I think they'd still get me to about the halfway mark, though.
I think I might actually try this after I've gotten some sleep and post my results--seems like fun to see how fast you can do it! I'll first try it without the more niche categories (how many of you are actually gonna know I'm not naming some random person if I say Lee Soon-kyu?) and see how far I get. I think the strategy is probably to prime your memory with groups rather than going one-by-one (e.g. for actors, think in terms of franchises or TV series; for athletes, think of specific sports or teams; for musicians think of genres, eras, or groups; for politicians, go by administrations, governing bodies, states, etc.)
One rule clarification: how strict are we on needing first and last names? For actors, politicians, and athletes it seems non-negotiable, but a lot of singers go by mononyms or stage names. Some of them seem like fair game, but others seem like cheating. Like, do you really know the Spice Girls if you can give their "Spice names" but not their real names? I think I can get all or most if the former but only one if the latter (the most famous one), and the latter seems fairer to me--I doubt I'd even recognize the others' names if I saw them, or even recognize them if I saw their photos outside of a Spice Girls context.
edit: I did it! Fun exercise--would be nice to try it again further down the line (not having been primed by reading some of the other lists) with additional restrictions.

Yeah I was wondering this too. Especially since you bring up Kpop idols since like dont all of them (or maybe just the ones it bands) go by mononyms?
Like my friend did this and said "Lisa from blackpink" and i was NOT sure that should count lmao.
But on the other had I'm decently sure nearly everyone would agree just saying "Madonna" would count so why not?
Yeah, if the mononym is very strongly associated with a person it seems fair (Madonna was exactly who I was thinking about) but I wouldn't accept "Nick from the Backstreet Boys." I think the litmus test would be if you say the name amongst people that are into the genre (but NOT superfans) and still get almost universal recognition. Like, if you say Siwon, everyone knows you mean Siwon from Super Junior. But if you just say Jonghyun...I mean, it could be the Jonghyun from CN Blue, but it could also be the (late great) Jonghyun from SHINee.
I now know the audience of this and refuse to participate.
yea pass
I think its a completly reasonable rule to say it can't be a person you personally know lmao. Point is for it to be googleable. Specifically mentioning that streamers are a valid option is obviously geared towards the audience (which is literally an on stream challenge lol) but anyone you can verify exists as a public figure should count.
Yes i stole it from a streamer challenge lol I just thought it was funny and also posted it because I wanted to talk about how much my special interest makes it easy for me.
