Fuck microsoft, on the bright side thing of all the cheap 2nd hand hardware
21 2 ReplyThis really isn't anything noteworthy, and the headline would be roughly true each time Windows has had a major OS upgrade/release. Every new Windows release has higher base requirements than the last one.
6 5 ReplyThe W10 requirements were almost identical to the W7 requirements. There might've been some edge cases but in general, anything that ran 7 could run 10.
15 1 ReplyIt is actually noteworthy because Windows is forcing users to have a particular piece of useless hardware for "security" reasons.
9 3 ReplyName a place where you can buy a computer without TPM built in in the last 5-10 years.... It really doesn't exist. This is just people being dumb.
Windows 10 won't stop working either. If you want old hardware and software then use it. End of story. If you want new hardware and software, use it.

SMB will upgrade as old systems age out. Nothing new there.
