For nearly a year, the Commerce Police Department charged innocent people with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol who insisted all along there was no evidence to make an arrest.
Officer Wood said Cash crossed the center line as he drove away. The FOX 5 I-Team could not confirm it because the city said the dash cam video was lost during a transfer to a new system.
No one from any of the police supervisors or chief of police thought to ask why "In 2023, Wood made 69 DUI arrests. That’s twice as many (31) as the rest of the Commerce Police Department combined". no one noticed? this is a completely corrupt force in commerce and they should all be dismissed, sued, and charged.
I honestly wonder if it would have went on substantially longer had his last false DUI not been another cop’s niece. It seems to be the only reason anybody took notice despite numerous earlier complaints.
I hope all the falsely-arrested drivers win Commerce's entire budget in court. Each.
The officer needs to go to prison. But since this is America and we don't do that here, the people of Commerce need to be punished, and then they need to take it out on the officer themselves.
Nobody's that stupid, clearly this officer has been drunk on duty for a year, someone ought to arrest him for it...
When anyone asks for proof of his inticmxicarion, just tell em you got a feeling he's high AF based on his behavior and that's all the proof he apparently needs
