This is Rome. They say all roads lead to Rome, but actually none of the roads in the UK do. So I had to book a flight to get here. So that sayings not even true is it?

  Euro tunnel has a train track not a road. You don't drive through it, you take your car on a train.

- I'm guessing it's a translation error: all roads lead away from Rome. It's an easy mistake to make.

I don't see why it's necessary to use this format to attribute a person's joke to another person who writes jokes. Like, the original guy is a humorist. It's his joke. Why bring Cunk into it? I have nothing wrong with Cunk but this is a weird way to use this format.
- I'm not on xitter so I may read cues wrong but the way I read it, the person who posted the Cunk attribution graphic was basically just saying "lol this reminded me of something Cunk would say."
  I feel pretty sure that would have crossed my mind too reading that.
  
  Sure, but it's also something the Brooks Otterlake account would say. I understand what the meme is doing, I'm saying it's unnecessary, in the same way these kinds of things do:
  
  or adding "Nobody:" before your joke.
  Just share the joke.
