Some of you may have noticed that we recently enabled ads on Rentry, and this was not a decision we made lightly. We'll get straight to the reason - running Rentry is expensive. Our goal is to reach a point in which we're no longer running it out of pocket. To break the reasons behind the expense...
For clarification, sentrytwo.com is the official instance of Bundles, a Markdown pastebin (what Rentry is). As said above it is open source and therefore not prone to the same issues as Rentry. Upon analysis, it works pretty much the same as Rentry and has most of the features I can think of (though it's still in development). You can read more at sentrytwo.com/what.
Ehh as long as the ads is not annoying as most websites (ie cookie req, videos ad, pop ups, invisible ad) that's fine by me, I always tries to support good services as much as I can even tho I'm a pirate I know hosting a website is not cheap, many good websites/services got shutdown in the past because of server costs
