there was nothing wrong with it was child porn text sign, there is was no nude minor or something, i didnt promote child porn, WTF reddit why you banned i didnt nothing
(btw sorry for if im made bad english here)
i really did not understand and this. this mag is for migrants and updates on the migration, a literal hub for migrants from reddit.
if a migrant has something to say about migration, about their own migration or what caused them to migrate, anything related to the reddit migration it belongs here. pushing them away like this and making them feel stupid for making a post when this is now supposed to be their safe haven away from reddit is NOT helping
Thank you for this. I think this community gets hung up on the "migration as activism" thing and forgets that there are other reasons to migrate too. Getting banned from Reddit for what one thinks is an unfair reason is certainly one of them. Heck, just getting bored and popping over to check out Kbin or the fediverse generally is valid too.
I mean heck, birds migrate back and forth. Maybe we should be focusing on building a place that people want to be.
You're right when you say this is for people who migrated from reddit, but someone creating an account only a few hours ago because they're mad for being banned from reddit for something that has nothing to do with migration, can be really considered "migrating"?
I mean, "WTF reddit why you banned i didnt nothing", does sound to you like someone being here because they want to quit reddit?
If you think that's bad, remember reddit permabans folks at random for no reason. (A "for multiple content violations" doesn't count if this is the first punishment and weeks have gone by since you've posted and no specific content violations (i.e. posts or comments) are identified.)
Woke up to find not just my main account but my 3 active accounts (different subs) permabanned by Reddit Legal, no reason given. Which means I was tracked by IP or cookie. Then I found out pretty much all my posts had been removed by a bot or that I got shadowbanned in pretty much every sub, even those I hardly ever post into. Why? I helped someone understand the fediverse and told spez to fuck off.
I deleted my accounts, it's pointless posting in such a cesspool of untold censorship.
It’s nice here, and a substantial amount of people came here to actually stay here. Maybe you should give it a try. Like, use fediverse for real for a bit.
Reddit is currently speeding downhill anyway, and I don’t see them changing their anti-use stance anytime soon.
I've been "permabanned" for the fourth time in four months. Pissed off a couple of the power mods, and they've been abusing the report button to get me kicked. Always manage to get it reversed once I get through to somebody via the appeals process, but I'm just not feeling it this time.
Yeah, it's becoming more like FB... like if you post a sexy pic of Mia Khalifa licking a popsicle, you get banned. I think Mia's face is like a ban trigger now on FB.
