Your feature suggestion will probably get more visibility with the devs if you put in a feature request in the Memmy GitHub project:
Hopefully they can make it happen
Yeah having an option to disable rotation when not viewing an image or video would be amazing!
Apollo had an option for exactly that and it was so good.
