Ah shrodingers alcove, if you fireball it it's full of orphans and level 1 clerics. If you don't it's full of heavy crossbowmen holding their actions.
- That's why it's important to upcast it. That way the orphans don't suffer.
  
  And incase it doesn't do what you intended the first time, a second cast is always a good idea
