Can someone explain this?
6 0 ReplyEh, I guess once august hits October feels really close and soon (in over a month) we’ll see it hit fully with shops coming with Halloween themed stuff long before Halloween itself.

1 0 ReplyThe Dollar Tree near me had Halloween decorations out already when I was there this evening.

The person is looking forward to Autumn/Fall so is uninterested in August
5 0 ReplyI interpreted this way:
"August" is covering up the fact that fall/autumn is just around the corner.
This could also just be my existential dread that winter is coming.
