I've wanted one too. For me it has a weird sorta retro scifi feel. Like, if a Dolorian was a truck. Mixed with a splash of Night Rider. Even some elements of Tron (the hard lines/angles).
I agree. I would never want to own one, because I think it's wildly impractical, but I think the style is somewhat charming.
Also, the concept of cyberpunk isn't as appealing today as it was four years ago. In 2019 this seemed fun, but now that society actually feels shaky, the R1T presents a much more appealing concept to me. After the last few years, a bulletproof truck doesn't seem like an escapist fantasy, an electric camper does.
Had to lookup the r1t. It's not for me. I think this is a case of subjective taste. It's not bad looking, but it's too...soft to me. It's the harder lines and the strange silhouette the CT has. Guess its why I'm also partial to older vehicles too, look wise.
