Still playing Nioh. Nothing new here, killing and dying, killing and dying, killing and dying.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 1 is pretty difficult. Not like souls game difficult, it's usual requiring lots of grinding difficulty. So, grinding away...
I have been itching for a tycoon game for a while now, so looking around noticed I have Two Point Hospital in PS+ Extra, so gave it a try, and loving it.
What about all of you? What have you been playing?
Suika Game, Mario Wonder, and Needy Streamer Overload. The last one has great music and i'm excited to see where it goes lol. You manage a needy mentally ill streamer.
How are you liking Suika Game? I saw the trailer but wasn't sure if I'll like it.
Just looked up Needy Streamer Overload, looks interesting. Let me summon the community's unofficial head of VNs: @Phelpssan@lemmy.world Have you played this? What do you think?
A friend of mine mentioned it to me when it was announced but I didn't pick it up yet. It does look very interesting, but might be too stressful for me right now. :D
Edit: Messaged my friend about it, he played it and liked it. High praise for the visuals and soundtrack, mentions it's a bit of "raising sim" which may be a pro or a con depending on who you ask. Also says it can be quite disturbing at times.
Super Mario RPG remake, got 4 stars of 7 about 6 hours in. Didn't play a lot last week due to the holiday and other stuff keeping me busy. It's pretty fun, but I'm just noticing now one unwelcome relic from the 16-bit era, no fast travel between checkpoints in a dungeon. I need to go back for items at what looks like just before a boss in an enemy-infested dungeon. Joy...
Decided to beat some short games I got for cheap a while back. This is a nice old-school rail shooter with a fantastic OST, but it's very short (~2 hours to finish), so definitely don't pick it up for the normal $25 price. For the $2.5 I paid for it was good fun.
Got this one on a friend's recommendation. Very interesting music-based puzzle game, but if you don't have a good sound setup on your living room definitely play this one with headphones - some of the pieces you have to put together have very subtle differences and can be hard to distinguish.
I restarted Jotun recently because I couldn't kill the final boss on the first run back in 2019. I forgot how the game goes so I restarted it last month. I forgot how gorgeous this game is. It's also made in my home province of Quebec, Canada!
