Problem with the forward facing camera on Pixel 4a not focusing
I've tried cleaning the lens, and tapping, but the camera just won't focus and all of my pictures end up being blurry. Any advice on how to troubleshoot this?

They do appear fine. If I take a picture of something on my desk, it tells me to move back to improve focus. That's not super helpful if I need to take a picture of a document, or something along those lines tho. This started back in February for me, and I've not been able to find a setting/cause to fix it.
Sorry to hear! I assume you're talking about the camera on the rear of the phone? That does have focus, not sure why it's not focusing for you. If shaking it a bit doesn't help or cleaning it off, not sure what else can be done.
As another poster said, the camera on the front of the phone doesn't focus, it's fixed.

EDIT: yeah probably not related, the 4a doesn't have a laser auto-focus component that is separated like on this photo:
