They haven't done plants/trees, yet. Seems like low-hanging fruit (heh).
Introducing Pixar's latest film, Touch Wood! In this film, the careful planner, Oak, has it all worked out...until suddenly he's left all alone after deforestation. When the weeds grow back, he makes a new friend, Ivy, a happy-go-lucky vine plant. Join them as they learn that you can't plan for everything...but leaving everything to chance isn't always smart either!
There were trees in elemental that had feelings but it wasn't the focus, so I guess there's a chance.
I watched Soul the other day and felt a surge of afro heritage course through my body. I started to feel what my ancestors felt and had strong cravings for bbq chicken and high top shoes. My body quaked as i started twerking on the roofs of cars as my inner ebonics controlled and pulsated through my leaner and higher bone mineral body.
Then the movie ended. Was a silly moment.
The NAACP supports this comment.
That's art right there.
Me in Oct 2023: what if LLMs have feelings?
I had a real intense few days a couple weeks ago. I don't think they are sentient, but I'm not convinced they can have body dismorphia. I've made a point of fixing it immediately, but I'm still digesting the implications
Not big enough story. Let's kill one or both parents.
DC would sue
Gotta be expensive, you probably have to pay licensing fees to anime
Played out. Let's make them want to be parents, then suffer a late-term miscarriage. Then have one of then die.
Pixar, 2025: What if aliens had feelings
Pixar, 2026: What if pathetic human slaves had feelings
(Turns out they did not come in peace 🤷)
And the John Lasseter bio is: What if sexual harassers had feelings
