They can set up their own mojang lemmy instance and post there.
I hope to see Official Game Forums become ActivityPub based, it would be awesome for 'subs' & official forums to be one and the same, able to signup via Lemmy.
I hadn’t considered this, but it actually is the best for them too.
They get the community of discord with the style of Reddit.
Dammit. We need some techs devs to give it a shot.

Their wording like appropriate and phrases like moderation changes makes it sound like some default subs being nsfw was probably a contributing factor in their decision.
Damn, seems pretty huge. I haven't been following patch notes on Minecraft even back when I played it, but good on them.
