whilst I agree that pronouns are hurting nobody, don't actually alienate the people who would vote for your rights by hitting them with overcorrection.
People are slow and dumb, and sometimes it takes baby steps to come over to your side.
Blasting them at every footfall is a recipe for disaster
Reminder that Olde English had more pronouns, but Patriarchs wanted two.

hitis just a precursor toit, in the sense that an object is refered to and not a person.Yes, but keep in mind you have to balance this against not tolerating bad actors who will prey upon your understanding. I've met plenty of "slow and dumb" people who really just have no intention of ever getting it right and make no effort to do so while claiming that they're trying their best. It takes wisdom to recognize the difference.
Some people take baby steps to come to your side, others need to be dragged kicking and screaming to the correct side.
