What are the most sedating foods per se, not necessarily needing to be full of it to get the sleep aiding effect?

Any carbs for lunch followed by a work meeting I don't care about.
You're eating the wrong carbs.
Or too much carbs.
Also it's an autumn day and the office heating is just a little hot and stuffy
Does beer count as food? Carbs + alcohol = one way ticket to sleepy town.
Yum vodka mashed potatoes.
Potatoes with a fermented potato sauce
Specifically the hops used to flavour beer are a potent herbal sleep aid.
There's a pork chop in every beer.
Tatchos. You can't tell me anyone's ever scarfed a platter of tatchos and then been like, "let's do something physical"
Potat nachos?
Precisely
Biologically, cheese. It slows down your intestines. Just follow your stomach, then.
Valerian root. It's GABA active. Smells like either manure or freshly rained on soil though depending on your nose in a similar way to how cilantro taste varies between people. It's what's in sleepytime extra.
Carbs.
Simple carbs. Complex carbs give you energy.
Turkey
That's actually a myth.
Tryptophan is a myth? Wild, seems it’s about getting too full.
For me, it is Arrabiata pasta from one cafe I visit. It gets me sleepy every time.
