How can I see the avatars/profile pics of posters and commenters on Lemmy.world?

Hello and good 1am to you all,

I just joined Lemmy.world today and am using the Boost app. Please let me know if it is a matter of waiting or if I need to take action to see everyone's awesome profile pictures.

I have "show avatars" toggle to ON in my profile settings.
