    • I remember playing a PnP game once that didn't have like alchemist's fire (it wasn't D&D) but there was booze and rags so I made a Molotov to throw at this group of enemies we were fighting who were standing on a thatched roof. The rest of the party was mad up until the DM said it killed all the enemies, and revealed the building they were on was a secret workshop set up by the gang we were trying to find, and it was filled with powerful artifacts and hella money.

      "See? Wanton destruction is always helpful."

      • Perhaps they were worried that you'd end up with a different problem, I hear that happens very frequently when you throw a molotov cocktail
