Calling on lemmy.world to defederate with feddit.org

Feddit.org has chosen to support the Palestinian genocide and censor ALL speech against Israel or in support of Palestinians.

I call on lemmy.world to support and protect its users by defederating from any instance that chooses to support Nazi ideology, especially when they should know better.

EDIT: Huh. I didn't realize how much of lemmy supported Nazis. I guess this will be my last contribution to the platform.

Developed by tankies, supported by nazis, and a generally condescending and narcissistic user base 🤷‍♂️ good riddance. I hope y'all find some love in the world.

Literally not what's happening. Which, I guess, is reason you didn't link the actual announcement/clarification post while making your baseless claims. You are free to criticise Israel, support Palestine and Palestinians, and to call out the genocide.

So, it's happening because they're government mandated it. So, wouldn't the best approach be to stay federated, so that any of our external content gets federated to them and they see it anyway? Isn't federation a good thing in this case?
Why would we help them in this case, it would be on them to defederate from us.

  "From the River to the Sea" is calling for murder of everyone in Israel. Killing millions of people because a large chunk of them are Jewish is pretty Nazi like to me.
- I agree with the first statement, because it’s entirely true. And I even agree that constant threat of defederation being a problem with Lemmy in general, but there is so much wrong logically wrong with the rest of this comment it makes my brain hurt. How can they be nazis and not allow nazis at the same time? And why would you even want the noise of constant nazi propaganda in the first place?
- Ok, less political this time. Defederating too much is hurting Lemmy. Those admins live in Germany, they have to follow Germany's laws. That's why they made the rule change.
